A group of 18 Finnish food and wine lovers was traveling in Italy around Regione Veneto for 6 days in October 2009.
The group visited local restaurants and small wine houses and tasted fine local wines and traditional meals.
The chestnut season had just begun at the Colli Euganei volganic area near Padua so we tasted some meals made of chestnut.
We also visited Poli Distillery at Bassano where famous grappa is made and learned some history of the distillery process at Poli Grappa Museum.
